The Compensation Commission shall receive no compensation, but shall be entitled to their actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties. The Commission shall consist of five members who shall be registered electors of the city, appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by a majority of the members elected and serving on the city council. The term of office shall be five years and members shall be appointed before January 1 of the year of appointment. Vacancies shall be filled for the remainder of the unexpired term. No member or employee of the city council or member of his immediate family or any employee of the city or member of his immediate family shall be eligible to be a member of the commission.

Compensation Commission - Duties

To determine the salaries of all local elected officials.

Commission meets every two years on odd years.
